History of Sicilian Toasted Almond Nougat:

Minnulata is a typical Sicilian dessert. A sweet nougat made with almonds and honey, the recipe of which has been handed down from generation to generation. The highest quality Sicilian almonds are processed together with honey creating a wonderful union of sweetness. The aroma of the almonds is highly enhanced by the presence of honey that holds the nougat together. The product is artisanal and follows the ancient traditional recipe.
