We select our artisan producers with great attention, care and meticulousness, from every part of Sicily. We personally know all the producers you find on the site . We choose producers who work with passion and dedication, in an artisanal way, respecting the environment and the territory, who have an intense bond with Sicily and who are committed to passing on its tradition and food culture. In fact, all the products come from every part of Sicily and respect its food and wine traditions.

Are the articles on the site always available?

Normally yes. In some cases the specialties ordered are produced specifically for your order, in other cases the products come from different areas of Sicily. Other times, precisely because the specialties can be produced specifically for the order, there may be delays which the Emporio Sicilia team will always resolve by contacting the customer promptly, proposing solutions and informing them of developments.

Can I order products for corporate gifts or as gifts for my employees and collaborators?

Certain. We can offer you special and tailor-made offers to meet your needs, make deliveries to the home of your customers or collaborators, or also to your company or your delegate.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs for Italy are €9.99 per order. Regardless of the quantities ordered. To pay by cash on delivery, shipping is increased by €4.90 , aimed at covering the costs of the courier service. For orders over €100 for Italy, we'll give you free shipping!

What should I do upon delivery?

Check that the number and type of packages delivered actually corresponds to what you ordered. The data are present on the attached Transport Document. Also check that the packages are not opened, tampered with or obviously damaged.

How to facilitate the delivery if you are never present to receive it?

Deliveries are made on weekdays, from Monday to Friday. In this case it is important to indicate a delivery address where someone is always present capable of collecting the goods (for example your office, the doorman or a neighbor).
However, we recommend that you also provide us with a telephone number at the time of ordering, in order to make the couriers' work as easy as possible and to contact you if necessary. Is it necessary to register on the site in order to place an order?

No, to place an order it is not necessary to register on the site. However, if you register quickly by entering your personal data and an e-mail address, you will be able to receive notification of payment and all updates regarding the status of your shipment.

Registration will also allow you to consult and modify the information in your personal profile at any time, such as your credentials, billing and shipping addresses (which you will not have to re-enter manually each time!) and payment methods. Is there a minimum or maximum order quantity?

No, there is no minimum or maximum order limit. Decide what you want to buy!

Are there any restrictions depending on the geographical area?

At the moment, unfortunately, the only restrictions are as follows for the following countries:

USA : We CANNOT ship ALCOHOL and FISH IN OIL due to customs restrictions. We hope to be able to ship these types of products as soon as possible.

SWITZERLAND and UK : We CANNOT ship ALCOHOL due to customs restrictions. We hope to be able to ship these types of products as soon as possible.

How do promotional codes work?

The promotion code is an alphanumeric code which, if entered during the online purchase procedure, allows you to take advantage of the promotions and free gifts connected to the promotion. To use the code dedicated to you correctly, simply enter it in the space provided on your page cart, and you will immediately see the discount applied to the code.

Promotional discounts are not always cumulative with already discounted products and are not always applicable to all products. Each coupon has a different duration and value.

How can I track the order status?

After placing your order (after a few days, depending on preparation times) you will receive an email with the shipping notification and the shipping number. tracking , which will allow you to monitor the delivery.

NB: If when the tracking is sent the tracking of the shipment still does not appear, it is perfectly normal : the tracking will be available within a few hours (this is because from the moment the tracking number is assigned until the actual departure of the package they can spend a few hours).

Is it possible to cancel an order that has already been placed?

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Ordinary delivery times, from the moment of notification of shipment, are generally between 7 and 15 working days:

  • In some cases the products are immediately available and ready to leave in a short time and therefore we will proceed with shipping immediately! Shipping within the national territory can also affect the speed.
  • In other cases , to guarantee maximum freshness and quality, the products are made specifically for your order! So, to produce your freshest specialties, it takes its time. International shipping may also affect the speed.

What are the various payment methods?

You can make your purchases on by choosing from the following payment methods:

  • Debit/Credit Card
    The amount will be charged to the card when the order request is entered. There is no commission to be paid by the Customer. Payment takes place through the secure server of our partner Stripe .
    Circuits accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express; Visa Electron; rechargeable credit cards; Maestro ATMs enabled; PostePay.
  • Bank transfer
    If you choose to pay via bank transfer, our IBAN will be provided in order to make the payment. Once we have received it, the order can be prepared and shipped. To speed up shipping, instead of waiting for our credit, you can send us the payment receipt to support@emporiosicilia.it.
  • PayPal
    To purchase online without having to enter your credit card details on the site. The account will be debited upon completion of the order. To register a new PayPal account, visit the site.
  • Cash on delivery (no longer available)
    You can choose to purchase by paying cash on delivery to the courier conveniently upon delivery. This payment option includes an increase of €4.90 on shipping costs, aimed at covering the additional costs we have to bear in order to offer you this service. Currently Cash on Delivery is only available for orders coming from Italy.
  • Payment in installments with Afterpay.
    Afterpay is an innovative method for making payments in interest-free installments. Pay for your orders in up to 3 installments following a simple online procedure.
  • Payment via Plick.
    Plick is an innovative method for making unlimited digital payments, throughout Europe, directly from your Smartphone.

I can't make the payment. What can I do?

If you are unable to make a payment, try to check these points:

  1. Check your credit card limit, availability or expiration date

Can I change the delivery data?

Once an order has been placed it is no longer possible to change the shipping address on the order. However, if you have not yet placed an order, you can correct or change your address at any time.

In the event that the package is delivered by the shipper manifestly damaged or stained with liquids, what should I do?

If you happen to receive one or more clearly damaged packages, collect only the intact ones and return the damaged ones to the sender, after having photographed them. Then contact us immediately on support@ emporiosicilia.it , tell us what happened and send us photos of what happened. We will find the most suitable solution to solve your problem.
