The Chocolate of Modica Mascobado is prepared with 60% cocoa seeds, Mascobado brown sugar. The cocoa, combined with the very aromatic Mascobado sugar and with hints of licorice,
gives this chocolate an ancient taste. This chocolate bar was one of the first experiments of Donna Elvira who wanted to create special combinations, evidence of the search for cocoa with peculiar characteristics given by the origin of Central and South America, a research that continues today.
