Our Territory

Terraliva was born in the heart of the Iblei Mountains in the small mountain village of Buccheri , in the province of Syracuse, a few kilometers from the most beautiful and renowned cities of art and historical-architectural interest in Eastern Sicily .

Located in a volcanic area at an altitude of 700 meters, our centuries-old olive trees stand up, benefiting greatly from the temperature range created between day and night and which gives the plants a positive stress capable of ensuring a high production quality and unique organoleptic properties .

In fact, in our estates there are very ancient native cultivars such as the Tonda Iblea, for our Tonda Iblea IGP Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, together with other minor ones such as the Nocellara Etnea , the Nocellara del Belice and the Zaituna :

from these are born " experiential monocultivars " that intoxicate the senses with their characteristic hints of tomato, as in the case of the Tonda Iblea IGP Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, wild thistle, medicinal herbs, almonds and dried fruit.
