Poggio Rosso. Enthusiastic agronomists
Poggio Rosso farm consists of a citrus grove of almost eight hectares, with a total number of 2700
orange plants of the variety Tarocco Nucellare and Tarocco Comune. The activity concerns the
cultivation of the splendid Sicilian typical product, the red orange, and that of olive oil, obtained
from 152 plants of the variety Nocellara of Etna, arranged along the entire perimeter of the
Poggio Rosso is certified I.C.E.A. as an organic production and adopts good agricultural practices,
respecting the environment and protecting the health of consumers. It is a family business, the
production manager is Alfredo Costanzo, an agronomist and passionate in agriculture, who together
with his family carries on the taste of tradition.
